Am I a Good Candidate for LASIK?

To be a good candidate for LASIK in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale, you must be at least 18 years old and in good health, with no eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts. Is LASIK for Everyone?

Not everyone is a good candidate for LASIK. Dr. Braverman will not perform the procedure unless he is 100 percent sure that the patient is a good candidate with a high likelihood of success. If you are not a good candidate – for example, if your corneas are too thin for the surgeon to create an adequate flap – you may qualify for an alternative laser correction treatment such as LASEK, Epi-LASIK or PRK.

Is LASIK Painful?
